Waterproofing Services

HERE'S WHAT WE DO: There is a misunderstanding of just how to define 'waterproofing'. If you consider your home's basement as a ship's hull below waterline, its much easier to understand. To a technical inquiry, it's defined as 'water management' since God stops & mortals manage it. IF we're working on NEW construction & budgets allow for proper items, anyone can waterproof. However, since most of our work is existing structures, most times we can only 'manage' water so its not an intrusive problem in our daily lives, structure use, or damage existing buildings. Now & then, nature sends us the 100yr storm - any prudent mind considers special circumstances on that occurrence - we think of it all the time.

The systems we design are based on 2 items - the 100 yearr occurrence & available budget. The following information & links won't help with the disasterous mess in your basement but should help you understand the industry's operative standards - there are solutions. We provide opinion letters including suggested repair methods, materials, estimates, & d-i-y items - all leading to water intrusion management &/or prevention. Currently there is a fee for inspection - $ .50 per mile portal to portal from East Cobb County. This cost is deducted from total amount of work if you retain us. In the event you contract w/others, you have on-hand an objective plan for comparison.

WHY US? Our principal has over 37 years of experience in concrete repairs, masonary rehabilitation, & waterproofing. First starting as a laboring sub-contractor, he eventually became Senior Partner & Operations Director for New Jersey's Atlantis Waterproofing - now NationDry Waterproofing.

THE 4 RULES OF WATER: Understanding & applying these 4 principles allow anyone to 'waterproof' (manage leaking water):

    1 - Water runs downhill - this seems easy enough to understand;
    2 - Water takes the path of least resistance - rivers, brooks, lakes, & streams wander & meander;
    3 - Water seeks sits own level ( pyramid builders used water levels );
    4 - Water rushes to fill a void (try making a hole in your bathtub full of water)
